About

I am a master's student at the University of Maine pursing a M.S. in Climate and Quaternary Studies with the Climate Change Institute and a M.A. with the School of Policy and International Affairs with a concentration in Global Environmental Policy and Development. My graduate work is supported by a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.

My research focuses on climate change adaptation policy, funding, and implementation in developing countries. I conduct fieldwork in Nicaragua, Samoa, and at United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conferences of the Parties (COPs).

During the 2017-18 academic year, I interned in USAID's Office of Global Climate Change focused on climate integration and climate risk management. Currently, I am the 2018-2019 Graduate Fellow for the Maine Chapter of the Scholars Strategy Network.

I grew up in Peabody, Massachusetts. I received my undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies (B.A.) from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 2014. Following graduation, I worked at Dickinson in the student life office developing the College's campus-wide outdoor education program.

I plan to work in the field of climate change adaptation or sustainability more generally following my master's program.
